Q. How does a band or artist submit music to 107 ROCK ?

Q. What does Tagged/Labeled ID3 mean?
A. Music needs to have ID3 tags which embeds the proper information on the music file it adds tags including Song Name, Artist, Album Name, Genre and Year to your music. This is required for 107 ROCK server software to properly display what's "Now Playing" on the On-Air music player and to help Identify the music. You can also check your music information by iTunes and see if all fields are labeled. For more information http://id3.org
Q. Can artist/bands do exclusive music releases with 107 ROCK ?
A. Yes! We would be honored! If you are on current rotation and would like to do an exclusive release please send email to:OnAir@107WBRR.com and put "Exclusive Music Release" in subject line and make sure all the pertinent information regarding the exclusive music release is in the email.
Q. Does 107 ROCK accept CD's, and/or music merchandise via US mail?
A. Yes! Please contact us via email OnAir@107WBRR.com to get postal address.
Q. How does and artist/band get more airplay?
A. HINT: : How to stay on ACTIVE ROTATION Well… including 107 ROCK in your Social Media posts... Text Request To: 407-374-3625 PLUS getting your fans involved and giving “LIKES” for your songs on the station social media platforms. 107 ROCK believes in the “WORK HARD” system. If you show you are willing to put forth the effort to support your music and this radio station then we will help assist you with it as well. Continuously promoting the radio stations playing your music is always the best way to keep your current fans and hopefully new fans aware of your music and status. Hard work DOES pay off!
Q. I submitted music, what happens next?
A. 107 ROCK receives music submissions daily and we try to get to them asap. If your music is selected for daily rotation you will receive an email from the station.
Q. What does it mean the station is licensed?
A. As of January 18, 2019 107 ROCK (Formerly Boston Rock Radio) became a Full Music licensing and chart reporting station with coverage in the USA (through SoundExchange, ASCAP, BMI, and SESAC), in Canada (through SOCAN and Re: Sound), and in the UK (through PPL and PRS for Music)
Q. Why don't I hear my/our music on rotation?
A. If we do not see any active promotions coming from the artist/band for themselves and/or 107 ROCK artist/bands are moved to light rotation and eventually removed from rotation. (Refer to Q & A above)
Q. Why wasn't my music selected for rotation?
A. 107 ROCK reserves the right to refuse any submissions for any number of reasons including: Not following submission guidelines, Wrong genre, music not tagged properly, mass emails, poor quality sound, outright vulgar or hate lyrical content, other reasons or just not a fit for station format.
